Hey guys,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been struggling with my weight since I was 12. I had a health problem and the medication I took for 8 years made me gain a lot of weigh and really fast, I went from being average to being over weight and it was terrible. After I stopped drinking the medication at 20 I began to struggle with my weight and losing it. My lowest weight was 202 and could never surpass that, it has to do with motivation, bad eating habits ( I tend to skip a lot of meals because I don't get hungry), slow metabolism, and no commitment. at 28 I was diagnosed with a serious cortisol problem, high levels that were caused because of stress and a nervous breakdown and my weight went up to my highest at 248. I was devastated.
I cant tell you how many times I've tried and failed so many times that every time I start I have a feeling in the back of my mind that I will fail once again.
But!
I'm trying again, and I think this time I might make it, I am recently married and want to have kids in 2 years and I would love to be healthy.
So that's me, there is more but for now its enough, I wouldn't want to ramble on paragraph after paragraph.
Please add me if you need a friend or if you want to help me with motivation.
Have a great day!

I am 28 yrs old ! I also have been struggling with my weight since I was 13 and my grandma passed. So began by battle with food. I ate to give me comfort. I want to change but I sill struggle with eating for comfort.
My highest weight was 242 and I lost 46 pounds with weight watchers in from Jan to Nov of 2011. I took on a huge a responsibility in July of 2011 (my husband and I had to take on raising his niece and nephew) and stopped logging because I was stressed and just wanting to eat I could not seem to motivate my self out of that.
I am ready for a change! Feel free to add me!0 -
Hi Gals - your stories resonated with me. I am 50 years old this year and have been experiencing health issues related to my obesity. I also have been dieting since I was 13 years old. I am now 287 and completely frustrated. I lost 98 lbs in 2010 and kept it off until my Wedding in the fall of 2011.
Right after that my Mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I cared for her daily until she passed in January of 2012. That seemed to send me into a major tailspin and I just kept gaining it back 10 lbs at a time, so I just started to ignore the scale and here I am.
I am also the mother of a little girl 2.5 years old, so I have a real reason to get and stay healthy.. The last thing I want is for her to end up with food and weight issues.
At any rate, I could use some friends on this journey, if you are interested, you can add me.0 -
This is everything I got...
Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.

There are no magic pills. Only hard work and dedication.
It's about moderation not deprivation. There are no good/bad foods, only bad eating habits. Do or do not, there is no try. You have to want it, you have to work for it, you have to realize that only you can do it.

I'm going to add you!
At my heaviest (that I know of) I was 256.6. This was a few months ago. I have a long journey ahead of me to get to my goal weight of 130-ish. I've always been overweight/obese for my age and I'm working on changing that. I have more determination than ever before.
We can all help each other.
Also thanks gracieisjinxed for sharing those links. Definitely will check them out.0
