    Thick and juicy grilled steaks.
    Campfire and burned marshmallows.
    Sweat and fresh baked bread. Together. This is a really weird one, and it's not something one comes across often. When I was a kid, the dojo I went to was next door to an industrial bakery. So you've got that sweat smell- not dirty locker room bad sweat, but just sweat in general, mixed with the amazing warm yeasty bread smell. Takes me back :)

    ETA: My kitty, when he just comes inside in the winter, and his fur is still cold! Makes me slightly sad I made him an indoor cat last time we moved.

    The smell of fall and even early winter makes me sad as it was all the holiday get togethers with everyone who is gone. The woods smells nice too most of the time, nothing smells like a forest with a river going thru it.
