Weight is coming off like crazy

I started weight training last week. The scale didn't budge even an ounce. This week it's coming off like crazy. 5 lbs this week AND I hit a major goal. I'm in the 230's. Haven't been there in 10 years!

    I have a Total Gym at home. I like it a lot better than free weights.

    Great job! It feels so good when the weight finally starts falling off. At home DVD's have worked out best for me. It's awesome when you find what works for you!

    Just don't get too excited/depressed when some of it comes back. Up and down is how weight goes, and you're just looking for a downward trend over time.

    It's water weight. Please don't do any drastic dieting. Take it slow.

    This. I take my measurements too. If I don't see any, or just a little weight, come off I do my measurements. They show my progress far better. I only do home workouts as well. I like being in my own home. And my "gym" is next to my bed haha

    Congrats! Do not be disappointed though if your weight fluctuates. This is normal.
