I am really struggling now ppl and really need help. My son is 17 weeks old i have been eating healthy and watching wot i eat since he was 8 weeks old. I have only been logging on here a few days. I got my weight from 11 stone 7 to 11 stone 1. I weighed my self this morning and weigh 11 stone 3...... i havent changed anything. I had a bad day yestersay. I am exercising as much as i can with a 17 week old baby and walking when ever i get the chance. If i can only manage 10 mins of exercise i do it as 10 mins is better than none. I drink 2 liters or more of water a day. I am a bridesmaid in october 12th which is my deadline to lose a good amount. In the long term i want to be 9stone. I just don't no what else to do and i am getting really disheartened. Any help or advice would be great. 1 thing i no j need to do is cut sugar out of tea or stop drinking tea.

hi dont focus on those 2 pounds if your salt intake was higher yesterday it is water retention. Keep at it, keep doing what you are doing sometime it takes a while to show.0

It's probably water retention... What do you mean by 'had a bad day'?0 -
My bad day i feel was because i went to subway and bought a 12 inch sub on wheat bread with turkey melted cheese lettuce cucumber and south west sauce. X0

lunchmeat is pretty high in sodium, and I bet Southwest Sauce is too. High sodium intake (even if it's not "all that high" just over your normal) can definitely cause water retention which will show as an increase in scale weight. It will gradually dissipate over a couple of days. It is NOT fat gain andi it is NOT something to freak out over. :flowerforyou:0 -
Thanks guys. I have started 30 day shred today so hope fully this should give me a boost0

you need to be aware that for a lot of people, starting a new exercise program (such as 30DS) will also cause water retention, because your muscles will retain water in the beginning to cushion and repair themselves. You need to try to understand that this is also temporary, but that for the first week or two (or possibly a little longer), your weight might not - in fact probably won't - go down the way you're expecting. Stick with it!! You're going to love your healthier self in the end0
