1 1/2 LBS OF GOUND BEEF
1 LGE ONION CHOPPED
4 LGE POTATOES CUBED
4 CARROTS SLICED
1/2 HEAD CABBAGE SHREDDED
4 CUPS OF TOMATOES
1/2 BAY LEAF
1/4 TSPOF THYME SALT N PEPPER TO TASTE
1/4 CUP OF RICE
IN DUTCH OVEN PLACE A SMALL AMOUNT OF FAT PLACE GRUNDE BEEF N ONIONS BROWN DRAIN OFF FAT ADD 4 CUPS WATER POTATOES CARROTS CABBAGE TOMATOES BAY LEAF THYME SALT N PEPPER BRING TO BOIL ADD RICE REDUCE HEAT N SIMMER FOR 2 HOURS ADD WATER HAS NEEDED DURING FIRST 30 MINS ENJOY
REMOVE BAY LEAF

    That does look good actually. I'd probably add in some cayenne if you wanted it spicy but sounds good as is.
