Today I participated in Cancer Research UK's 10k Race for Life at Sutton Park, dressed head to toe in pink to raise money to kick cancers butt.

3 Years ago, I participated in the 5k event and came in at 1 hour 8 minutes and 17 seconds.
So this year my aim was at most 2 hours 16 minutes but ideally 2 hours flat.
I came in at:

and even though some people will scoff and say they could do it faster, I am incredibly proud of myself

because I pushed myself to my limit, my legs and feet are screaming, I raised money for charity and I got my name on a limited edition 2014 t-shirt
