Shannan Ponton

Just wondering if anyone has been on Shannan Ponton's 8 week challenge as I'm thinking of joining but would love to hear from others who have done it & get their thoughts on the programme. Thanks :)

    Hi Lisamaree,

I've been doing Shannans program for over a year now and run a support group on facebook called Blue Lounge that follows his program. If you throw yourself into it the program has a lot of good energy. The meals are simple and take around 20 mins at the most to prepare. He has 3 levels of exercise programs that you can do either at home or at a gym. I think its well worth it and a lot of people have had good results.

    Cheers

    Hi Mira,

Thanks for the reply. I think my biggest concern is what food I'd actually be eating as I am a little fussy but I'm trying to be open minded! Is the menu plan flexible in any way? e.g. do you choose from the menus what you eat or is it a set menu? And does it include lots of "rabbit food"?! I'm happy to make changes but would also like to know what I'm in for LOL. I already go to the gym & do a little jogging so I'm not as concerned about the exercise part of it. I figure for $89 I can't really go wrong.

    Cheers,
    Lisa

    Hi LisaMaree,

The menu is one set menu for Shannans plan, you would also have access to the Biggest Loser Club which has a vegetarian & other menus but you don't need to be on Shannans program for that. Personally I am not really fond of the Biggest Loser menus as they include takeaway, but other people like them. There is rabbit food on Shannans plan but you really have to expect that on a diet :)

You also get a weekly motivational video from Shannan, and three live meetings with him in the 8 weeks where you can ask your questions.

    cheers
