Hello, my name is Karen, I'm new here and looking for a place to keep myself accountable to yet again another New Year's Resolution to get healthy and in shape. I will be 40 at the end of 2008 and have promised myself that next New Year I will not need to have the same old resolution of losing weight and living a healthier lifestyle. My long term goal is to lose 45 pounds. I'm going to Walt Disney World in Florida in April, so my shorter term goal is to lose 15 pounds before the trip. To be honest, I've always HATED exercise, so doing it and coming around to maybe even enjoying it is another goal of mine as well. I'm a mother of 3, ages 6, 13 and 18 (my oldest just moved out for the first time last week which has been a big stresser for me) I run a day care and preschool in my home 10 hours a day, with 7 little ones to care for, which keeps me busy but also makes it easy to make bad food choices that are quick and easy. Hope to see you all here frequently!

    I too hate exercise!

    I have found that dancing is the best exercise for me, as not only is it good for me, but I can get the kids involved in it as well!
