Many people enjoy looking thinner when they lose weight....

I have to admit that what makes me most happy at this point is being able to wrap a towel around my body without a part of my booty or belly peeking out haha

Nearly losing my pants on a run recently. I'm not kidding, haha. They were slipping down off my hips, and I had to keep using my breaks to pull them back up.
Was exciting that I'm shrinking pants sizes, and am close to fitting into a smaller pair that I've held on to as a weight loss goal for a while.0 -
Being able to wear skinny jeans and looking damn good in them. :drinker:0

LOL! Well done!0 -
Feeling my clothing get looser I am not that thin just yet but one of the things i am excited about the most is fitting into these high waisted shorty shorts that i bought but can't fit into yet i am going to be wearing them this summer in a few months!!!0

the towel fitting around was a highlight, thanks for reminding me. i like sitting in chairs with my legs tucked up. Got honked at while walking down the street the other day, first time in over 2 decades that has happened.0

Why thank you!
Would have been a huge prob if they did drop all the way, because I would have flashed my bum to everyone around me, haha. Luckily avoided a wardrobe malfunction!0 -
I have a few as well:
- being able to wear pretty underwear
- losing weight in my chest - I went from a 38 H to a 34 DD. Might sound bad to lose weigh there but I had wayyy to much. Not fun!
- I agree with the towel comment - that was nice as well!
- just feeling better overall - no more stomach aches, or feeling bagged the whole day0 -
Standing in the shower and looking down at my feet...actually being to lower my chin and see my feet instead of my belly.0
-
Being able to look directly down and see my penis without my gut getting in the way brought a smile to my face lol.0

Love going clothes shopping and being able to shop at normal size clothes shops.0
-
Feeling confident enough to go out in just jeans and t shirt with no make up for once.0

The towel going all the way round was a definite happy moment. Also being able to look down and realise I was in need of a wax0

Feeling confident in tight/figure hugging outfits.0

I just like being fit and strong and capable. I love the fact that I can go do a 50 mile bike race and be done before noon...go have lunch and then go home and mow the lawn and take care of anything else that needs taking care of without feeling like I'm going to die.
It used to be that a 20 minute walk around the block with my dog was call for a 2 hour nap in the afternoon...now I just rock it.0 -
Going shopping and not immediately grabbing the largest size available off the rack. I recently got into some "medium" sized shorts and tops and it was really encouraging!0

That's the big one for me too. I've only dropped 15 lbs or so but I've been doing a ton of weights and cardio so i feel way better. I can workout hard in the morning, be active all day, and then go play a club sport and still have a ton of energy.
Such a huge quality of life improvement.
Also clothes fit way better.....but my old wardrobe is basically useless now. Which sucks since I just bought basically a full professional wardrobe, haha.0 -
Going for a bike ride or run and not feeling like I stick out like a sore thumb.0

I DID flash my bum doing that not too long ago. That was my push to go get some smaller workout clothes. LOL!
I am enjoying just wearing shorts again. I wouldn't wear them when I was heavier because I hated how my legs looked. Now, I need to buy some that fit!0 -
I was excited the day I realized when I laid down that my hip bones actually poke out. I seriously could never see my hips like 50 lbs ago- as a belly dancer this was super exciting lol0

Reclining in pajama shorts and gazing in surprise and happiness at my growing quads. My thighs don't look like shapeless blobs anymore Definition! And I've discovered I can make my pecs bounce like major body builders do. It gives me the giggles when I do it.0

Eating in public and knowing no one is looking at me and thinking I need to put the food down and jog away.0

Recently I was bringing 2 40lb bags of salt down to the basement to put in our water treatment system and realized that I used to carry that 80lbs around 24x7.0

The increase of energy, helped by the fact that my thighs no longer rub together
Recenlty the transit system in my area went on a sick-out and I was able to walk the 3 miles to work and home and I lowered the time it takes me in the process!!!0 -

I made a list of random things I hated about being fat and this was totally on it! I was irritated that I couldn't comfortably wrap a regular size bath towel around myself.
Happy to report that this is no longer an issue and it's the simple stuff like this that reminds me how different life really is now. My shirts don't get caught in my back fat, I can comfortably bend/squat to pick things up and take the stairs without getting winded, and don't even notice how much/little my boyfriend's truck sinks when I sit on the tailgate now.0 -

Me too! I have bought more shorts this summer than I have since I was in college It's a beautiful thing.
I went shopping with my mom over the weekend and I tried on a medium shirt and she actually said "I think you need that in a small." Amazing. I have never worn a small!!0 -
Being able to rock shorts again. I have long legs, and now nearly 4 stone is gone, they're looking pretty good in dresses and shorts.0

My favorite part about losing weight is looking down my nose at people who are still struggling with their weight. Then I gain back the 70 pounds I lost and I'm all like, "STOP JUDGING ME."0
-
I can now shop at Victoria's Secret. I won't, because too expensive and not worth it. But my old VS bras fit again. Not exactly where I wanted to lose the weight from, but I'll take it.0

I love this part!!!!0 -

Agree with the above. Add to that being able to shop at the mall again. It had been so long. I am still fairly young so yes I missed that.0
