Have you heard of figurerobics? an exercise created by Jung Dayeon, a 46 year old south korean mother of two who decided in 2003, weighing 70kg and 162cm high, to change her life around and lose weight. She took on a strict diet and exercise plan and managed to lose 20kg in only 3 months! She inspired many mums across asia and she's recently started her dvd, figurerobics. You can buy it online, but some her exercises are on youtube, albeit in korean. My favourite is the one using dumb bells, which burns around 110 calories for me! ( i'm 68 kg and 162cm).
her workouts are simple but rigourous aerobic exercises that focus on a womans ( and man's) figure! Though it doesn't burn many calories, it's great to pair up with another workout and it certainly tones and pushes your muscles to the limit! search her on google images to see her transformation! it's amazing, and certainly inspires me!

Yes, I love her workouts so much and look forward to doing them everyday. I try to do 6 days a week, with three different sets together.0

You cannot 'tone' your muscles. You can gain strength, build muscle or remove the fat covering them. But you cannot 'tone' them. Its a misnomer.
Unless you are using 25#+ dumb bells in these videos you are not building muscles. Likely you are just adding to your cardio intensity, thus making the fat disappear a bit quicker (by adding to your daily deficit through cardio) revealing the muscle underneath.0 -
