So I've read lots of times here it's not ideal to eat 1200 calories a day. But for me there's a difference between EATING 1200, and NETTING 1200. I eat 1500, but sometimes net 1200.
Is this okay? Is there a difference?

It's fine.
Yes, there's a difference.
Just eat as much as you can while still losing weight. You'll be better off in the long run.0 -

I stick to netting 1200. If I burn 500 from working out, I am going to eat back that 500. I have done it both ways and did lose weight both ways. Honestly though, netting 1200 is more satisfying and more sustainable in the long run.0
