What now?

So after posting some pics and getting some great advice I want to turn my efforts towards a new direction. My main focus this far has been to count calories and get the weight off. I am closer to my weight goal and have at least 13lbs more to lose. I am doing EA Sports 2 9 week challenge now but want to find something to firm up all the flabby parts left behind. 2 children later I have some unflattering skin and I am not sure I have the dedication to be sculpted but I would like to be not so "poochie".
Where exactly do I begin? I will start by saying that P90x is a wee bit scarey and not something I think I could stick to. I need something that isn't so hardcore. I am good if it takes months, I am willing to work at it a little slower if it means I don't have to give it hell now....hope that makes some sense.
I want something that doesn't seem like such a strict workout yet it is. Does such a thing exist? Is there a way to monitor my progress at all other then visual?
I need a plan! Help me please. Since I still have at least 13lbs to lose I will continue on the 1200-1300 calories a day and continue to do my EA Sports (just started so not close to the end of the challenge yet) but what do I need to do in order to firm up? I don't want to be ripped just not flabby please :flowerforyou:

I finally broke down and go the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred video. I am trying to night, but everyone here says such great things about it. Will let you know how it turns out!0

Everyone can benefit from basic strength training. It WON'T make you "ripped" unless you're trying to get that way. It CAN help tone/shape your body, give you more strength and get rid of some of the flab.
If you're a memeber of a gym, ask if one of the gym employees can give you an introduction to the weight area - most gyms have both machines and free weights - the machines are easier to use if you're a beginner, and there is less chance of you hurting yourself due to poor form.
You can also try something like Jillian's 30 day shred or Biggest Loser Bootcamp (especially if you don't belong to a gym) - I got both DVDs for about $10 from Walmart. These incorporate handweights and using your body for resistance training.0 -
Some of the favorites seem to be JM's 30 day Shred or her No More Trouble Zones. I've done the shred and would say it's just fine to do it 3 or 4 times a week if you don't want to go all 7. they're only 20 minute sessions, but they'll help with the legs.0

Check out the book, "The 4-hour body". I know it sounds ridiculous, but it is actually very well researched. I don't know anyone who has actually followed the program though, so I don't know if it works. Good luck, and it's never too late!0

Thanks. My main problem area I think would be my abs and thighs.
I might give the shred a try...thanks again. Anyone have any other suggestions please share :flowerforyou:0
