Reached my first goal!

My first fitness/weight loss goal was reached over the weekend. One thing on my bucket list has been to do some fun backcountry multiday dirtbike trip with minimal gear. Back in late January I set a date found a few friends to tag along and set a goal of getting in good enough shape to actually do it. I have been weight training with a personal trainer 3 days a week, attending a boot camp 1 day a week and playing Ice Hockey a few nights a week. I fell GREAT! I didn't loose as much weight as I wanted to by this point but I am in the best shape of my adult life and finished my 500 mile off road adventure and strength or endurance was not an issue even once on the trip.
Next goal is to do a Special Opps 5k optical course run July 17th and keep working towards my 190lb weight goal.

Thanks it was a life changing experience. And it was so nice to not have my weight and fitness level be an issue.0 -
