Seeking low sodium diet and filling foods.

First off, woman here coming out of a sedentary state, haven't worked out in 5 years.
So I'm trying to lose 20 lbs to get down to my ideal weight. I discovered from MFP that the foods I eat are high in sodium and I didn't directly realize that.
MFP tells me to eat 1250 calories a day if I want to lose 1 lb a week, but I feel hungry constantly. I started getting a headache yesterday from the lack of food. I understand that if I need to do 1250 calories a day, I need to include some cardio as well, so I did today. The most I can do right now is 110 without stopping, and then I need to take a break.
I eat home cooked meals, lots of chicken and what-not, but I guess I'm going about this wrong.
Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to make myself feel "full" and a better diet plan so that I feel full more often? I stayed at 1270 yesterday along with a work-out. Maybe I need to do multiple work-outs during the day to build my body's stamina up properly for better work-outs. Is this what people generally do? Work out, 10 minute break, start their work out again?
I also drink about 44 OZ of water a day. I can't drink anymore without feeling like I'm going to over-hydrate.
Thanks for any help. I apologize for the newbie questions.

Hi!
Read this thread:

tweak as needed.
You'll find packaged convenience foods (canned soups, frozen dinners etc) to be the highest in sodium.
Most importantly: MFP already has the deficit built in. If you work out the app expects you to eat more....0 -

What is your current diet plan now exactly? Maybe make your food diary public so we have something to work from.
As far as eating "filling" foods I would emphasize high-volume foods that are low in calorie. Some simple swaps...
Shiritaki noodles or zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash instead of pasta (very low calorie substitute).
Have fresh cut vegetables ready at hand to snack on when you feel hungry, or have a small high protein snack like deli meat.
Green tea throughout the day.
Scrambled egg whites (4-5) instead of an egg.
Almond milk instead of dairy milk.
Brothy low-sodium soups.0
