Hello everyone!
I was just wondering if I should get a Wii Fit. I know they offer fun games and what not, but I was wondering if YOU use or have used the Wii Fit/Balance board and lost any weight?
Thanks so much!

I dropped about 30 lbs on the Wii Fit Plus for about 3 months, but attribute it mostly to eating better. I realize that the games on the Wii Fit are fun but the exercises are slow and didn't get my heart rate up to where I wanted it. I started to use EA Sports Wii Active and that really accelerated my weight loss. Doing the set programs, my weight was falling off fast and my endurance increased. After finishing the 30 day challenge program, I switched to the Wii Active 2 which was more intense with better peripherals. When I finished the 9 week program I loss an additional 30 lbs. I still go back and use Wii Active II when its a rainy day but I prefer to just go for a 10k run.
It was very gratifying to step onto the Wii Fit Balance Board for a measurement and not be in the Obese category back in December. I am sure if I measured today, I would not be in the overweight category and be proudly in the Normal category.
I am thinking about going back and using Wii Fit's yoga workouts because my Dr said that yoga would help with my breathing and stretching.
Generally Wii Fit is a good start-up program but there is so much hula hooping and boxing one can do.0 -
Wii Fit helped jump start my weight loss. Now I do it if I want an easy day, but I really have to push myself to burn a good number of calories. In the beginning though, it was great. I'd highly recommend it to anyone with a Wii. I wish I had a Wii U so I could play the new one.0
