And why that song? It could be a song that inspires you. Or maybe it's that one song that you swear could have been written about you. Or whatever reason that song stands out as being your theme.

I don't really do feelings, emotions, etc. very well. I have been called emotionally unavailable, and I couldn't argue that description. I call myself a Vulcan (if you watch Star Trek). I have been described as Sheldon Cooper. It works for me. And then one day, I noticed what I think was a grey whisker (I pulled it out lol). Then not long after that, I heard this song on the radio for the first time. Hit me right in the feels.

So anyway, what's yours?

    survived - getting back on my own 2 feet

    and recently .....
    survived - taking care of my mother in at home hospice while working
    survived - watching my mom whither away and there was nothing i could do
    survived - My Sweet Mom's passing 2 1/2 weeks ago

    I will continue living strong!

    Come on Eileen-Dexy's Midnight Runners. It doesn't really tell the story of my life or anything...I just love it so much. It's my jam. I love the line "At this moment, you mean everything" I think that it speaks to the temporary mindset we tend to have about love and relationships in general. *shrugs*

    Billy Cobham: Quadrant 4

    This insanely uptempo fusion of swing, rock, and jazz is the tune I can't sit still for. Tommy Bolen on guitar and he rips through the speakers and grabs my gut and uses me as a whammy bar. Billy Cobham's drumming (are 32nd beats possible?) is so manic and crisp, I don't think it has an equal. Recorded in 1972 with Jan Hammer and some other fusion luminaries, it never grows old for me.
