Stomach fat...softer?

Hi guys,
So far I have lost about three inches and I'm very happy with that. However, the fat on my stomach (which is where I carry most of my wieght) has become very soft and...wobbly! At first I thought it was my skin being too lose (maybe it is?) but when you look at the skin itself it doesn't seem to be loose. My stomach is very soft and maybe even saggy. Before it was big and, not hard, but firmer fat. Is this normal? Is this my skin? Will it go away?!

completely normal. think of a balloon that is fully inflated vs one that is only half inflated. thats essentially whats going on with your fat cells right now, they are becoming deflated.

eventually skin will tighten up as these cells become smaller and smaller

I'm having the same issue! I was thinking it was the skin was well. Maybe a combination of what the above poster said and loose skin...The struggles of weight loss...
  • Ok, thanks. I hoped it would be something like that, but your response is reassuring!

Sounds like the first signs of a kangaroo pouch. Now's the time to train those abs/stomach muscles. Do planks, and crunches every day, with at least one rest day a week, to prevent any injury. A high protein diet, 70g-100g a day will help to feed your muscles.
