Spinach, Strawberry, and Chicken Salad
So, this is not totally homemade. I cheat and use a premade salad dressing. However, I had to throw it up here because it is one of my favorite salads to eat. The fact it is healthy makes it that much better.
Ingredients:
2 cups Baby Spinach – 20 cal.
4 oz. Grilled Chicken – 142 cal.
1 oz. Feta Cheese – 80 cal.
1 cup Fresh Strawberries – 45 cal.
2 T. Slivered Almonds – 90 cal.
2 T. Newman’s Own Light Cranberry Walnut salad dressing – 70 cal.
Total Calories = 447
Suggestions:
This is also good with oranges, pecans, cranberries, or bleu cheese.
Let me know what you put in this salad to make it uniquely yours!
