10K Tuesdays

Hey Guys!

I try to always be at the gym doing something while I watch the biggest loser, because it makes me work out a lot harder, and then I don't feel guilty for sitting on the couch watching the biggest loser, while eating ice cream and feeling like a fatty.

A couple of friends are going to be coming to the gym with me this week so we can work out while we watch it. We have decided to make it 10K Tuesdays, where we will walk on the treadmill at at least a 3.1 speed to be able to finish a 10K by the end of the show. Since I'm not accustomed to running, but would like to be able to run in a few races by the end of the years I feel like this is a nice way to ease into it. Plus it will give me a decent pace that will not wear me out, but still get in a decent amount of distance in, all while being distracted by the biggest loser so it doesn't feel like I'm getting an extra 2 hours worth of exercise.

Anyone else want to join us and make 10 K tuesdays a tradition?

    LOL! I had a post about 3 months ago I called 5K Tuesday's and encouraged people to get up and move it during the BL show. Good for you and your friends! Spread the word and keep it up!!

    Awesome job! I tend to run/walk interval a 10K every Tuesday as well!
    And BTW if you can walk a 10K you can run ... slowly... and do intervals!
