Yesterday my scale read 234.2 and today it reads 235.0. Could this be correct? I exercised yesterday and was under my calories limit by 300.

    Salt and water can effect your weight from day to day. Also, your TOM. That's why your should only weigh yourself once a week. I find myself looking forward to weighing in and not dreading and fretting over every ounce like I was when I was weighing in everyday.

    8 ounces of water weighs about 1/2 lb and if you have eaten too much salt you can retain more water then usual

    Your body weight fluctuates continuously which it is usually recommended to weigh yourself once a week at the same time...i.e. morning before breakfast. Otherwise the fluctuations due to sodium levels, water intake, constipation, TOM, etc. will drive you crazy. Also make sure you are eating enough calories every day so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode. Good luck with your journey...eat quality unprocessed foods more often but eat less in quantity and move more! It'll happen.
