It's finally here. The World Cup starts today! Who's going to win it all? Let's hear it. I'm making the obvious pick and going with Brazil, but I think that Uruguay and Argentina will have a great showing as well.

    Obviously rooting for USA. I've always been a fan of Portugal as well, so it kind of sucks for me that they are in the same group. I also like Uruguay.

    It seems to me that Brazil and Argentina have two of the easier groups to advance from.

    it will be interesting to see if Brazil wilts under the pressure. hopefully none of them succumb like Ronaldo seemed to do.

    looking forward to seeing how Belgium and its Chelsea players do(Hazard, Lukaku, Courtois)

    if Messi can get this monkey off his back and win a Cup that would be nice.

    I always pull for England and Mexico. and i like to see african nations do well.

    only teams i really root against are Spain and Italy.

    i would LOVE if USA would advance from our group - but w/ Germany and Portugal in the same group... i have concerns.

    i adore England and will be screaming madly at the tv for their matches.

    that all said, i think it'll be Portugal this year.

    I'll probably be rooting for countries I've visited or countries I have friends in, so USA (since that's where I live), Canada, Mexico, England, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland... also I have wanted to go to Croatia for YEARS so I have a soft spot for them too. :) Admittedly I know nothing about the teams or players, so I don't claim to be a "real fan," but I definitely love watching the World Cup and I get really into it.
