Tight Back

So, the more I exercise, no matter what lifts I'm doing, my back keeps feeling tighter and more inflexible.
It doesn't hurt, I'm not pulling anything, but I'm noticing decreased flexibility and standing straight after sitting is hard sometimes.
I hate foam rolling, but I'm willing to try it if it will really help, but what else can I do?

Roll a tennis or lacrosse ball all over your back either on the floor, or against a wall. You probably have some trigger points you need to release.0

Is it more the muscles or the joints?
Personally, I have problems with achy joints, and my back used to be a big one. I sleep straight on my back when I notice it bothering me, and I started taking Glucosamine about six weeks ago. Also, just really subtle stretching throughout the day makes a big difference.
As for ongoing muscle tightness, I don't really have any suggestions.0 -
Roll foam. Roll before and after a work out. Roll foam at home in the mornings and eves. Helps my back a lot.0
