Hi Everyone : )
I am new to MFP and i have lots of questions! I am so happy to see how many kind people there are out there and how willing everyone is to help eachother out! - Its great - So thanks to EVERYONE who comments there opinions and help!!
So i am finding that i am always running out of the Fat% very quickly!!! I am finding it diffucult for me to eat all the protien i need in the day because i already reached my fat goal.
& Atkins says fat is good ! But i am only allowed 40 grams a day..
(PS-I am not on atkins anymore)
Sorry just a little confused here and need some advice and help Thanks so much!

Fat is only good if you arent eating carbs too, otherwise you shoukd try to stick to the 40g or less. I was paleo for a while so I know what its like to be anti 'low fat' products but if youre eating carbs id suggest just eating the leanest cuts of meat, skim milk, low fat yoghurt etc and if you have eggs maybe one yolk and the rest whites. Meeting protein requirements is a struggle for me too! Google high protein low fat meals. By the way I try to avoid eatng my carb allowance and aim for under 100g of carbs per day, and have either small amounts of full fat dairy or moderate amounts of low fat dairy that is not high in added sugar. I havnt been very good at this lately as im 7 months pregnant and constantly craving chocolate and icecream lol, but I try.0

I tend to focus on protein. I'm trying to eat about 155 grams per day, usually with a calorie total around 1900 (it varies, depending on exercise). Beyond that, I try to eat some veggies and fruit, and I've been staying away from overly fatty foods. But I don't worry too much about the exact numbers when it comes to carbs and fat, and I certainly wouldn't stop eating on any given day because I had exceeded my macro target for fat.0 -
I'm confused as to why you think you can only eat 40g/fat per day? Emphasize lean cuts of protein over breads and pastas and you'll be fine on all fronts. Fat is not unhealthy.0

Because for my body type IIFYM says to only have 40g of fat a dayy.0 -
