Hey everyone! I'm a tad bored at the moment, and I'm looking for fun, healthy things to bake for my family. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Ps. I'm open to friend requests, I always need more motivation on my newsfeed!

Hello!
I have a huuuuuuuge passion for making healthy desserts and health-ifying everything! Here are some of my favorite recipes!

Yummy homemade granola (I sprinkle a bit on some plain greek yogurt mixed with berries and it makes a great parfait)

Also, this. You MUST try this. One ingredient banana ice cream.
( I add either peanut butter, vanilla extract, or some raw cacao powder to it - the riper the bananas, the sweeter it is!)

Hope this helps! I love all of these recipes!0 -
One of my favourite breakfasts; beetroot and apple muffins. Replace the sugar in the batter with a blended banana. Last time I added some rhubarb for flavour as well, amazing. My recipe comes from an issue of Runners World, but is very similar to this:

Here's a link to some killer foods this guy makes that are "healthy" as you call it. The protein cheesecakes are amazing also! :

I have this problem too! I love baking but have to banish practically everything I make to the freezer so I don't eat it. Forgive me for just tagging along for the replies! :flowerforyou:0

I love to bake, usually bake about 2-3 times per week. I make all the same things I always did just now I don't eat the whole cake at one time.0

What do you mean by healthy?
If you mean low fat low sugar I'm not your girl. But I do bake a lot and I practice portion control. I just recently started freezing cookie dough and leftover desserts and that works great.
Here's a great lemon zucchini bread recipe:

Here's a flourless chocolate cookie recipe that I discovered while trying out an elimination diet, which thankfully didn't do anything (make sure you let them cool for a few minutes on the pan before you try to move them:

Ahh, thank you so much everyone for the amazing suggestions! I've got some bananas in the freezer at the moment, and i'm super excited to have some ice cream for dessert tonight!
Whilst waiting for responses to this thread, I found this blog: http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/ Where she gets normally high calories treats and makes them healthier! She includes the nutrition information on most of her recipes, so you can't go wrong.0 -

Just the other weekend I made skinny chocolate chip cheesecake bars! Very yummy and a little kick of protein from the greek yogurt.
