inguinal hernia - any ideas?

I have an a small inguinal hernia (groin area). It does not hurt or act up too much until I golf like 27 or more holes in a day...and then it is annoying. I am scheduled to play 63 holes in 3 days beginning next Thursday and want some more ideas as to what works. I do know that compression shorts help, like my Nike Pro Combat Compression base layer. What else works?

I am scheduled to see my Doc in about 11 days - so no "See your Doc" advice please.

    No doubt. That's what the Doc appointment is for. But that doesn't help me next weekend.

    Options
    "Soft Form Hernia Support Belt" will give you more 'focused' support if the hernia is on the left or right.
