My new heart rate monitor review

I just bought a Lifetrak c200. I tried it tonight on a run to see if it really knew the miles I covered and calories burned.
For calories it shows I burned twice the amount of myfitnesspal and milelage it showed 2.07 while runningmap.com (satalite image shows 2.26 miles.
Did I get my money's worth? I'll try it again and atleast use it for the heart rate feature.
What heart rate monitor do you recommend that doesn't cost over $100?

Polar H7 in connection with the free polar beat app. (Unfortunately IOS only)
Heart rate monitors can be hit or miss, some of them are excellent others a waste of money. Mine is spot on. I know this as I ate my exercise calories back over a certain time and did not gain any weight.
Anyhow heart rate monitors that can be combined with a device that allows you to measure your very own VO2max are very good, albeit more expensive.
Best of luck
