So,

    2. Eat healthier
    3. Lift weights
    4. Be happy! You can't change other people and the sooner you learn to live with others the easier life gets.

Nothing. If I didn't have what happened to me before, I wouldn't be the person I am now, and I'm quite happy with who i am

The relationship with your high school girlfriend ends in 2 months anyway, and your parents will respect your decision. Take the opportunity to be stationed in Italy.

Just say no. Go to school. Enjoy your teenage years. Every choice you make now will affect your future.

#1 Save yourself till marriage. Wait, I did tell myself that.
#2 Go to college and get a degree. Wait I said that too but since I didn't listen to # 1, # 2 didn't happen.

    1) Don't go on comfort food binges with your mom when her and dad fight, it will only start an unhealthy food addiction.
    2) The neighborhood kids are not your friends. Stop following them around, the sooner the better.
    3) Don't go to church/youth group. Or at least don't go to the church your parents are going to. Nothing good will come of it.
    4) Don't stay silent when Ricky corners you and repeatedly harasses you in the back hallway after karate class.
    5) Don't go in that house alone while you wait for Jake to arrive. In fact, don't go in that house at all anymore. Never go back. And while you're at it just break up with Jake. He ends up cheating on you with a 16 year old anyway.
    6) Take the offer to stay in Okinawa.
    7) Just shell out the money for better fitting shoes. It will save you years of grief.
    8) Don't try to lift heavy on your own, without any experience or guidance. If you do, you'll rupture a disc and things just get worse for you physically from there.

    1) lose the booze
    2) take advantage of the college education Mom & Dad paid for; don't think you can major in Partying (see #1)
    3) don't think "things will change once we are married"
    4) find your passion and pursue it!!

    1) your too clumsy to ride a motorbike, don't do it
    2) trust yourself more - every decision you make is the right one if it's right for you at the time
    3) pay more attention at uni, it's so awesome you don't want to miss any of it

    1) Don't eat junk food.
    2) Don't let yourself get into debt...ever.
    3) Invest a small amount each month for the future (in a stock mutual fund) and don't touch it no matter what happens to the market until you're 10 yrs from needing the money. At that time, move it to something safer like a bond fund.
    4) Don't marry the wrong man. If your parents and friends don't like him, there is something wrong with him. You can't see it because love is truly blind.
    5) Maintain a good work-life balance. There are more important things in life than money and success. Work to live, don't live to work.

    1. Do NOT start smoking.
    2. Forgive yourself.
    3. Don't let him hit you. Leave.
    4. Be yourself. It's okay to be weird, different, odd.

I'd kick the crap out of my younger self and tell him that's what he gets for being a future chump. I'd then threaten him with repeated beatings unless he becomes less chump-ish.

    Dear Younger Self,
Don't worry about your butt. Someday that thang's gonna be in style. Women everywhere are gonna be spending hours in the gym TRYING to get a big round butt. I kid you not.

for the love of god don't care so much what people think of you!

...wait. i could probably still use that advice now. lol.

to be honest i agree with a previous poster who said nothing, because it made her who she is now and she's quite happy now. i feel the same way. i have honestly never been happier in life and love. never thought it was genuinely possible for me. and, for the first time in, well, ever, i see my future as a bright, happy place. my ability now to even actually conjure up a mental image of my future is a pretty new one for me. i know reality isn't always like that, but that's ok. i know some storms will come through - but again, that's ok. that's life. i'm very content now, and thoughts of my future make me even happier.

No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow you progress, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn’t trying.

Lean how to eat rather than focusing on a number on the scale.

    And...

Trust and honor your instincts when it comes to others.
