    I recommend doing it for the health benefits, but don't do it to lose weight. My wife lost 11lbs and gained it all back in one month. She followed it to a "T" and was working with a dietician as well, it was rather crazy. Lemon juice and maple syrup doesn't sound like the most nutritious way to lose weight.

    If you want to clean yourself out just eat a bunch of sugar free candy or chocolate. I guarantee you will be squeaky clean in under 6 hours BUT the hell you will go through will stay in your memory for a lifetime.

    I did that on accident a while back on Sorbee candy and Surge soda. Let's just say it was a rather violent evacuation.

    Yeah I did too, it was an awful, awful experience. But certainly was a cleanse.
