I fell off the wagon about a year ago. I had lost 110lbs. Now I have 60lb to go to get back to where I was :(. Getting back to it now. Need all the encouragement I can get lol. Looking forward to working hard and making new friends.

Have you figured out what happened the first time? That's the really important part about restarting. Here are some links to help you find a sustainable plan that works for you. Maybe this will be the last time. If you want it badly enough - you'll succeed. Good luck!! :flowerforyou:

Thanks!! I had a job change that left little to no time for eating right or exercising. (often 15 hr days M-F) That coupled with marital troubles leading to divorce. I have recently switched careers and no longer have the relationship stress I had.
  • Hi all. My name is Ciara and I am beginning my weightloss journey. I am 5"6 and 185 pounds at present and hope to get as close to 140 as possible before Christmas. I am struggling immensely with the exercise as the cause of my weight gain was injury related and resulted in sitting up for 6months and being quite limited for up to one year.

Ive set myself 45 mins a day of brisk walking with a little jog where possible. I have extremely low self esteem at present and feel very self loathing about the state I have let myself get into. I hope to make a few comrades through this journey and look forward to receiving advice/tips and maybe one day being able to help others.

I find that easing into things is usually the best way for me to stick with them. No better way to guaranty a quit than to immediately start overdoing it and setting unrealistic goals and expectations.
