Hi Everyone,
I workout 6 times a week weight training and just added 3 days of cardio (HIIT). I was taking in 1200 calories and lost the first two weeks then came to a standstill. I just upped my calories to 1500 with the advice from a friend and will then put it to 1600. I am 5"2 and 128 lbs.
BMR from Marcofit.com is1302 and TDEE is 2213.
I am just curious what everyone takes in for calories according to there height/weight and amount of time spent exercising?
Thanks

Taking into consideration you have perfect sleep cycles, perfect monthly cycles, great libido, eat the proper ratios of food....
Seems a bit extreme though.0 -
If your TDEE is 2200-ish then 1500-1600 is probably a good range for you - depending on how much weight you need to lose.
My TDEE is 2100-2200. I'm 5' 5.5" and now 145ish. (Started at 178.5, heading to 130-135.) I eat 1400-1600 per day. I aim for a 500 deficit, and like to see an extra 100-200 to spare as I figure that helps to offset any calorie errors. I use a Fitbit which calculates my total daily burn based on my all day activity, which of course is just an estimate. Have been losing steadily at about 1 pound per week overall for the past few months.
I'm not very active in my workouts. Light body weight strength training, and cardio such as walking/running.
Just wanted to add - you should not expect steady, exact results every week. You'll have some weeks where you don't lose. That doesn't mean you've done anything wrong. The body is not a perfect machine.0 -
I can't imagine you have a ton to lose at the weight you are on. If it is less than 20 lb than I wouldn't do less than 15% from TDEE, which would make it around 1850. You are working out a LOT so losing weight slowly is a good idea.0
