Do you exercise? If not, 1400-1500 is likely going to be too much for you. For a sedentary person of your height and weight, it's suggested that you eat ~1270 to lose, or slightly lower than that if you want to speed it up a little. Hit the gym 4x a week and you could do 1400. Check out: http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/

I am 5'1 as well. Began at 140 now at about 116/117. Stayed mostly around 1200-1300. Down to the last 10lbs ish and eating at about the same. The more i workout the more i eat. If its a rest day i dont eat nearly as much. Im pretty sure 1500-1600 is maintenance for us.

No one can answer this question. Your energy expenditure is a very personal thing. Someone with the exact same height/weight/build/activity level might be able to eat 500 calories more then you and maintain weight. Someone else with the same stats might have to eat less then you to maintain weight. They only way to know is to try and see what happens. Odds are a 70-170 calorie change in intake will not make a huge difference. If you are losing weight now, you will probably continue just at a slower pace.

Okay if you lost weight at 1330 calories a day it seems extremely unlikely that 1400 would be your maintenance level. If it was then then your deficit at 1330 calories would have been 70 calories a day which would mean that you would lose one pound every 50 days. I imagine your weight loss was faster than that so therefore your deficit was larger than that so therefore at 1400 calories you would still be at deficit and would still lose weight albeit slightly slightly slower.

I'm confused? The site says I should eat 1300 calories per day yet that is under my resting metabolic rate so how can this be healthy.. but if I eat at what I should to fulfill exercise and energy requirements it is about 2200 cal per day.. does this mean I will lose weight at about 1800 cals?
