Prozac

So im just wondering if anyone up here has taken, or is taking Prozac. Has it made you gain any weight? Has caused any weight loss? I just got switched to it, because my celexa was causing me to gain weight. Ive cut my calories back to 1200 a day just in case it starts causing me to gain anything. I should be eating 2280 calories a day. Thanks for any help! =)

    I never had weight gain on Prozac. I believe it's pretty weight neutral.

    I didn't gain weight on it and sometimes found myself less hungry on it as well.

    I gained a lot of weight on Abilify, Lexapro, and Effexor. The Lexapro stopped fighting my OCD so my doctor replaced it with Prozac. Since I've been on Prozac (about 2 months) the weight has melted off me at a rapid rate. I'm down 30 lbs. But I've also been eating less.

    I am currently on Zoloft and have gained 20 lbs on it. My doctor may switch me to Prozac after some bloodwork comes back. So I'm also interested in what experiences others have had on Prozac. I've heard Wellbutrin is better as far as weight loss.
