Well here I am joing this site and giving it a go!
Currently a British Ex pat living in Zhejiang province of China
I started as a 120 Kg (264lbs) dude with a BMI above 30 (obese) now down to 97.5 KG (214lbs) and hoping to get into the 85 Kg range and to fix some of my posture issues ( rounded shoulders and anterior pelvic tilt). Seems good so far and I even managed to give up smoking to boot....I am also now tee total(sorry about that).
I need to do this mostly with free resources as my £500 ( $800) dollar income don't buy me much I do not really want to pay for a gym unless I really really have to. I have irregular access to a free one that leaves me covered in rust and has no squat rack but beggars can not be choosers! But it is going to be closed over summer so I plan to use body weight work for my strength training, it works for gymnasts so is I can find a good strength ( not aerobic) focused plan I will be well away!
I think I have found them in the form of "Convict Conditioning" and "You Are Your Own Gym" so time to give them a test drive. I am also using You-tube for practising beginner yoga stuff but I am approaching that from the more traditional spiritual based angle rather than the modern get fit angle.

Hi
firstly well done on weight loss so far and wow what an exotic place to live , the majority of my training is planks, reverse crunches, leg lifts, flutter kicks, squats and lunges with dumbbells as well as mountain climbers and such likes feel free to add me I don't belong in a gym I don't like them and I find I am good at self motivating myself0 -
Thanks for the welcome, my food diary is public so feel free to see what I get to eat out here !
I do like the gym though that may be due to the rather unusual kind of gym I am at. It is just a handful of regulars all working hard with no BS and no wasting money on overpriced supplements!0
