painful running

This is a weird question, but does anybody else have trouble with getting their nipples beat up during running? And if so, does anybody have any remedies to this problem?

Very common problem, gets worse as your distances increase & summer temps / humidity goes up.
I use an under armour compression top under my running tee, other runners will use vaseline, body glide, band aids, nip guards etc etc - takes a bit of trial and error to find what works best for you.0 -
It is actually not weird and extremely common for men. Some suggestions - a tight fitting wicking shirt, or at least a wicking shirt. Avoid cotton at all costs. Body Glide, Vaseline or some other product like that over the nipples. Or band-aids.0

im not gonna lie. YES lol. its the shirt. I either got one that doesnt bounce around so much or just lost the shirt altogether.
that or pasties.0 -
google "marathon nipples" and see what you get - it's common. I think Moleskin is a wonderful invention if you can stand a strong bandage-pulling afterwards to remove. I carry them all the time for foot blisters.0

Yes to all the above. Word of warning - even on a slightly hairy chest, band-aids are not fun to remove! Just sayin.0 -
Yes, it's a problem. Using Glide and/or Bandaids can work. However, KT tape (kinesiology tape) adheres better than bandaids. Sometimes I have to wear a KT tape strip on my chest to protect myself from heart-rate-monitor cutting my chest. Think about small pieces of KT tape. Or just wear a full strip of KT tape if you're going long.0
