Weird Knee Pain

So, basically whether I am sitting, standing or lying down, the inside of my left knee will either feel like it has a heating pad on it, have muscle twitches forever or have a sharp (fairly long lasting) pain....This has been going on for months now whether I'm working out or not. Is it just because I'm getting older? I have bartended, waitressed, exercised and so on for many years and nothing happened. Now I have an office job and it's acting up?
Any ideas?

Have you gone to the doctor? That would be your best bet, we can all give you guesses but that's not really what you need.

I would say go visit a doctor since it could be anything. I had knee issue which was the grinding feeling of the knee since I lack cartilage tissue. I just been getting more vitamins and mineral from food I eat to support the cartilage tissue. Try stretching out your knee couple times a day to increase mobility which might help.

Yeah, I'm thinking I should start taking glucosamine. Might help the cartilage.

Stretch and do mobility exercises daily. If it continues despite increasing mobility then you need to see a doctor about the potential causes.
