    This thread has caused me to ponder: What sort of experiment could be done to observe who the thread-killers are?

    Test #1: go to the last pages of threads listed and see who the last poster was. IF there is a repetition of names, voila, you have your thread killers.

    locked pages and 500 post pages not included. The thread listing page goes back many pages, so let's say any thread that has sat for more than a week is "killed".

    I looked at my board posts, and of the last 25 I was the last poster on 6, so about a quarter of the time, I kill the thread lol
