Goonies and I still watch it!!!! My kids love it too!!!
  • I watched that over and over when I was little and always wore my hair in a ponytail like belle! mind you, I also watched seven years in tibet repeatedly and copied the bowing kneel thing the monks did....I was a weird kid :P
  • Swiss Family Robinson
  • I think everyone was a weird child, I do think the guy who the beast turns into is quite nice looking still (I guess that means I am weird). xx

It's a tie between Dirty Dancing and Stand By Me.
  • The Little Mermaid for sure
  • kferg totally forgot about little mermaid. xx
  • Labyrinth... inspired my daughter's name (Sarah)
  • As a child, the 3 movies I watched the most were:
    "The Little Mermaid"
    "The Wizard of Oz"
"Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory"

Oh! And "Return to Oz". I'm pretty sure I was the only person to ever rent that movie. It was always checked in. I'm surprised the video store didn't just offer it to me :-)

Oh my gosh I watched all kinds of movies. My folks raised me watching B&W movies and I loved the old Disney movies like Pollyanna and Swiss Family Robinson and Davy Crockett! But my dad had us watching Back to the Future 1, Indiana Jones 1 & 3, and Star Wars 2 & 3 (because that was all they had recorded off of TBS!) Sigh! Those were the good old days!!!

Anything with John Wayne & Elvis Presley, oh and of course Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree :smooched:
  • Mine was (and still is) Beauty and the Beast. The old one not this new one they have out. I dont like it lol. I remember when I was little i watched my VHS tape of Beauty and the Beast so much my older brother and older sister took it and hid it and told me the VCR ate it. After 2 days of whining about my movie, my mom made them give it back to me.
