I work Monday thru Friday full time and then I attend College in the evening. Since this semester has officially started I am worried about getting home after 9:00 pm and eating and then going straight to bed. Last night I came home drank a glass of water, and about 15 minutes later I ate a Luna Bar and then went to bed. i am falling under my calories too. for example I am allowed 1420 calories per day and I am going to bed with approximately 400-500 calories left over.

Any suggestions or advice?

There's nothing wrong with eating at night. It is not bad for weight loss. People only think it's bad for weight loss because most of the time people eat at night, they binge eat junk food and didn't budget for the calories.

As far eating your total calories, please make sure to eat at least 1200 calories a day. I can't give you specifics of ways to improve your intake since I can't see your diary, but try to eat more frequently in small meals, even if it's just something like fruit. That should help get your count up there.

I think I need to bring some more veggies and fruits to work that I can snack on throughout the day but I definitely need to eat something when I get home because I am usually really hungry the following morning if I don't.
As far as my diary: this is my typical daily intake

BREAKFAST: Whole wheat english muffin with 1 tablespoon organic peanut butter
MORNING SNACK: banana and sometimes a cheese stick
LUNCH: garden salad with chicken breast
AFTERNOON SNACK: fruit or veggies and 100 calorie snack pack
DINNER: Luna bar and sometimes I eat baked chips or a couple bites from Hubby's leftovers (healthy)
I usually only drink water all day (8 or more glasses) and sometimes treat myself to a diet pepsi.
    Then its off to bed!
  • I would say bring snacks, and also try eating oatmeal at night. That usually helps alot.
