Hi!
I've been tracking calories- and failing miserably and going over constantly- on and off for two years. I haven't lost a single pound. In fact- i've just gained and gained. I've decided to try something different and try the "community aspect" this site has for something different. I really really need motivation to help me stay on track and would love to have positive friends on here who have been successful at losing weight or whoa re just starting out as well! I'm a vegetarian and I eat fairly healthily, I just need to not eat quite so much. I do yoga a few times a week but would like to add some regular cardio.
Thanks!!

Is there a reason you failed? Did you track "accurately" and it just didn't work? Did you just give up?0

This is everything I got.
Make sure to read the sexy pants link and so you're new here.
Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.

It's about moderation not deprivation. There are no good/bad foods, only bad eating habits. Do or do not, there is no try. You have to want it, you have to work for it, you have to realize that only you can do it.

What has really helped me is eating anything I want (and its usually healthy) as long as it within the range given. I used to have so much regret if I ate anything unhealthy but now I dont because I make sure its balanced. Also, I love to powerwalk but I increased my time and intensity so that I can eat more LOL. I dont like to lift weights but I know I need to so Ive been very consistent with kettlebell at home and I do the very minimum sets almost every day haha...and Ive been seeing results in strength and tone! I think its because Im consistent. Exercise gives me a rush and Im addicted now and its a habit. Also, a mental strategy I have is that I envision my animal brain (lower brain) is just an animal and IT wants to binge etc, not ME. I really dont want more of the junkfood and its consequences...its a habit.
Hope that helps!!
