Hello everyone! I have a hard time finding sides I can eat that don't get boring after a while. I'm not very creative when it comes to foods, so any ideas would definitely help! I'm trying to stay away from too many carb and sugar heavy foods. I need some ideas for lunches and dinner. Please and thank you!

I totally understand! For lunch I love petite carrots (raw) with roasted red pepper hummus - very yummy!0

I have been dieting since the end of March and have lost 27 pounds. For lunch I'll eat a chicken salad sandwich. I use the canned chicken (drained) celery, red grapes, red onion, pickles, and instead of mayonnaise I use fat free ranch dressing to hold it all together. I use Aunt Millies whole grain white bread which has 100 calories and 20 carbs in 2 slices. It's filling and not a lot of calories or carbs. Good luck0

Do you have any farmer's markets nearby? You can try new fruits and veggies, whatever's in season. If you don't know what it is or how to prepare it, just ask.0

Roasted veggies is good. Mashed potatoes/sweet potatoes/carrots or cauliflower. I just buy bags of frozen veggies and have one or two a day, lol.0

go onto Yummly and look up a black-eyed pea salad.0

What about Ratatouille? You can find various recipes online, but the basic principle is whatever veggies you have on hand and some tinned tomatos - simmer until cooked! Most people add a bit of garlic, but my sister adds a little chilli as well for a kick! I make big batches (especially when i have vegetables to use up) and freeze it. Sometimes I take some out of the freezer as a quick lunch (just defrost then heat in the microwave!) and because it's all vegetables it's fairly low cal, but the chunks of veg make it quite filling too!0
