It's immaterial to my interest and appreciation.

quite a conversation we have going on about these quest bars. I didn't hit "buy with one-click" on amazon yet, thankfully. While I agree that not all negative claims are any reason to throw the bars away, the claims do warrant some concern. I did a little looking online and found some information on protein bars that may be useful: http://www.leanitup.com/review-the-protein-bar-power-rankings-30-popular-bars-torn-apart-and-ranked/5/
Getting the feeling this is all too cerebral, and I just ought to eat real food0 -

My two cents: the flavors were great, but I had some trouble with the consistency (less bar-like, more "doughy"). And I got terrible bloating from them (I mean just really painful bloating).0

If you concerned about sucralose, but want to give the Quest Bars a try...the Strawberry Cheesecake bar does not contain sucralose and actually is really tasty, IMO.0

I get the box for $20 through my gym.
I don't need them to hit my protein but the chocolate chip cookie dough, 12 seconds in the microwave and it's like heaven.
Whoa, that's really cheap! 24 hourfitness just had a "sale" last month for $26.99 a box. That's not any cheaper than Amazon's $25. Damn, I want a $20 box of quest bars.0 -
GNCsells them and they are on sale sometimes. The strawberry cheesecake is the best. Even my 13 year old athlete likes to take them as a supplement when he has an extra long workout.0

Hey unless these people are total liars, then half of their flavors are made with stevia and erythritol NOT sucralose. It appears a safe sweetener. You can see here http://authoritynutrition.com/erythritol/. That other study said that the rats who ingested sucralose GAINED weight. Not what we're going for, is it?0
