Thanks!

I have been using meal replacement for 1.5 years. It really helps.0

Yes I do, although I use them as a supplementation addition rather than as a replacement. For example, I had a scrambled egg breakfast of three eggs (two egg whites and one whole) with a yellow pepper and USN Diet Ultra-lean...clocked in at 350 calories with 44g protein. Really good if you are trying to shed a few pounds but make sure you don't get to reliant on the powder as most protein should come from foods.0

One and half years?! That's long...
I'm finishing up my second tub of MRP...
1st MRP- Muscle Milk
2nd MRP - UniSyn Strawberry
I replace them for breakfast and dinner, for breakfast I eat additional 3 piece of low sodium high fiber biscuit.
Lunch will be real food, less rice/noodle, staying away from fried stuff, taking in more greens. I'm in Asia, so counting these calories are near impossible. After lunch would be 1-2 slice of fruits and a long black coffee w/o sugar.
Dinner would be MRP. Currently I'm on a 30 min mid-high intensity cardio hitting 70-80% heart rate when I reach home after work. I would then go grab a 6" subway melts.
All in all, maintaining or close to the target calorie count of 1200 per day.
I just ordered another 2 tub of UniSyn (Rich Chocolate & Vanilla), I'm pretty bored of the strawberry flavour, I'm more of the chocolate type of guy
I'm also on Magnum Heat supplements. The best thing is after the first tub of MRP, I don't feel hungry at night. Sometimes if my cal count is lower, I would snack on a small packet of cheese, low cal count with high calcium.0 -
I've been on meal replacement for 3 months now. Best thing to ever happen to me. I feel great. eating the healthiest I ever have. I don't consider it replacement more like a upgrade. I definitely wasn't getting this many nutrients and protein before, and it's helped me lose 30 pounds so I'm not stopping.0

I'm happy for you!!
Could you tell me your daily intake? How many meals are you replacing? Or are you using it in addition to your usual meals?0 -
Thank you I definitely do morning shake with a scoop of ionix ( adaptogens and antioxidants powder) and a snack between breakfast and lunch. Salad, hummus and veggies, fruit and veggies whatever my little heart desires. Than lunch I'll either have a shake or a meal, it just depends on how my day is going. Than a shake or meal for dinner with another snack iin-between. If you dont have much weight to lose than just 1 shake a day is good. I still have around 40 pounds to lose so I do 2 a day. I do a cellular cleanse too every week but that's a different story. The protein shake I'm doing has 36g of protein, which really helps with my pcos also. If I work out pretty good I'll throw another shake or smaller high protein meal in after my workout.0

my mom runs a weight loss clinic that sells some of these things (nutrimed, medifast, hmr). from what ive seen if you stick to it, they work and you will lose weight. problem being that restricting calories so drastically ruins your metabolism so when you stop your diet you gain a lot of weight back fast. best way is to supplement them into your diet and have them for 1 or 2 meals rather than full fasting.0

Sorry I forgot my intake. I assume, around 1200 calories on non work out days. I'm not really a calorie tracker, I try but there is just so many other things to do than count calories. I just eat healthy and it's working0

Hi there!
Yes, I believe I can't do a full fasting on just MRP, I would just die from that.
My plan is to go into cutting now, get into the 65-69kg zone, and start pumping weights to bring my weight into the 70-75kg zone.
Now I'm in Asia, with hard to calculate meals, especially lunch time when you have to eat out. But I'll be moving to the UK in a few months' time for studies and I feel its a good time to count every Kcal I consume, making sure I have every possible Kcal, Carb and other nutrition my body needs.

Guess we're both on the same Kcal cap! Asian food is a love/hate relationship. Imagine 1 serving of rice/noodle = close to 600Kcal. *faint*0
