I love Chris Rock's standup comedy. I have to say that David Chapelle is refreshingly honest and original too. Those are my top two as I can't decide.
  • Patton Oswalt. David Cross. Louis CK. Myq Kaplan. Reggie Watts. Anthony Jeselnik, are all up there, But the best and my all time favorite is still George Carlin. The man was a genius.

Too many to pick just one.

    Louis C.K.
    Daniel Tosh
    Dave Chapelle
    Katt Williams
    Dane Cook (so sue me!)

This always cracks me up, though I don't like any of his other stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4vST6_clnA

It's odd, but comedians that also act in movies - I find I don't like their stand-up. Like Adam Sandler, Robin Williams, and Jim Carey. I just can't watch them do stand-up, but their movies are funny. I do prefer stand-up to skit comedy, though. I love Dave Chapelle's stand-up, but his skits do nothing for me.

Ralphie May is by far the funniest guy I've ever seen in person. I happened to be at a show where his high school buddies were in attendance and he did a lot of extra material as a result, with the show lasting practically 4 hours. I was literally in pain afterwards from laughing so hard. Definitely worth seeing.
