Outside your HRM target zone

Hi. Does anyone know if there is a problem if you are working outside the target heart rate on your HRM? Lately I have been WELL outside the high limit every time I exercise. I just updated my current weight to see if that changes things. Please let know. Thanks!

Everyone has a different ZONE. You can customize it on your HRM. I would do some research in regards to your own physical shape and your heart rate. It also depends on what kind of training you are doing.0

I've heard that as long as it's not prolonged it's not a big deal (assuming you don't have any heart problems or you aren't feeling like your chest is going to explode). I'd say it's probably not a great thing to ever have your heart rate above the calculated maximum (220 minus your age), although I know that one's actual max HR isn't necessarily 220 - age. If you're concerned I'd say speak to a doctor, but otherwise you should be okay.0
