I try to be a supportive boyfriend

But I just can't. My girlfriend has been dealing with (i.e. complaining) a runny nose for a few months. I cared--the first time she told me about it in January--but I am tired of hearing about it. Now supportive I may not be, but patient I am. But today I finally broke down and told her just to shove something up there, like she would for her other flow, and quit whining about it. She threw a few expletives my way and then went and complained about me to her friends. I think she is overreacting and owes me an apology for slandering my good name. What do you think?

A runny nose? Jeez...if it's such an issue, tell her to see a doctor, otherwise I'd say your outburst is long over due and she should apologize for lashing out at you.0

Break up with her. A runny nose is a total deal breaker.0

Maybe she's leaking brain fluid... Maybe you should be flying to tucky and lovingly carrying her over the threshold of the hospital doors, man.0

sounds like you just need to talk it out... in a mutual place.. maybe with a friend of each of yours that wont take sides... dont get mad and force someone to do something they may not think they need..
arguements happen all the time.. give it some time.. let things settle again.. talk calmy about things.. offer an apology yourself.. if she agrees to apologize back, then she does.. she may not realize what was said... it happens.. dont let a little arguement ruin your relationship0 -

This. She's probably dying.0 -

Sounds like a needy b!tch. You should dump her for someone who would walk through fire for and with you without complaining about it. Ever.0

Since January? That's half a year, not just a "few months"...break up.
What's next, her V discharge won't quit?0 -
Sounds like you are both being stupid to me!! It sounds like she has an allergy to something. If it started in January, my first guess would be dairy but in reality it could be anything - dust, pollen from houseplants, mould - anything. She should go to the doctor or someone who can organise some tests. You could come across all caring and chivalrous and tell her you have been thinking about what could be causing the problem and think it could be XXXXX. That way you appear to care and can patch up if that's what you want.0
