Here I go again!

Hello Everyone!
My name is Jennifer and I'm not new to myfitnesspal nor am I new to this whole weight lost adventure but I am starting over again. The first time I lost weight it took me 2 years to lose 110 pounds! I was looking good, more active, and eating better but I felt horrible! Why? Well, I was only eating 1200 calories per day and that isn't enough for me. Sure, I was losing the weight but I did not feel good.
Then I gained the weight back... Not all but most (I was 17 pounds away from when I first started losing weight). Why? I had lost my motivation and I think a lot of stress didn't help either so I just ate and stopped exercising. I would try to start up again but I would quickly lose motivation. And then back in April I decided enough is enough, I need to do this! I started eating better and I was walking to get my exercise in. A couple of days later I fractured my ankle! Really?! And then I ate and I couldn't exercise.
So here I am. Trying again. I'm on week three right now at 1500 calories and trying to exercise when my ankle isn't hurting too bad. I'm still healing and things are going slow but I'm trying and I'm motivated. Next year in October I will be getting married and I don't want to look like a giant marshmallow in my dress. So wish me luck and add me if you would like. I think I could use more people in my life who are on the same journey I am.
Good luck everyone!

Hi Jennifer,
I am back again too. I was 1.5 pounds from my goal weight when I stopped tracking everything. Good luck to us!0 -
I'm in the same boat! I did really well using myfitnesspal and lost about 40 pounds. Over the past 2 years 20 of those pounds have crept back on. I've stopped working out and am not eating healthy like I should. I'm hoping using the message boards and getting support from other people going through the same thing will help me succeed! I would ideally like to lose 37ish pounds but am trying for small goals first.0

I'm happy that I'm not alone but also sad that we are all in this boat!
My goal is to get back down to the weight I met my fiancé at, which is 84 pounds to go. I need to set some small goals...0 -
I have a similar story; I lost around 60 lbs and was doing very well...until I ruptured a disc in my back and couldn't really move for 3 months. That was about four years ago, but I just haven't been able to stick with anything. I would get started and be really motivated for the first month, and something would happen and I would just give up. Been going at it strong for almost two months now. I think my biggest change is my mindset. I no longer look at losing weight and being healthy as an option. It is something I HAVE to do for myself. I'm getting married in less than 11 months, and shortly after would like to start a family, so it is no longer just about me.0

abithbat! I know what you mean! I want to be healthy enough to have a family after my fiancé and I get married too. I keep thinking when I get to that point in my life when I want to have children I really want to be as healthy as possible when carrying them and after they are born. I want to teach my children better eating habits than what I was taught.
Best of luck to you!0
