This year I sucessfully lost 40 pounds! I unfortunatly got stuck at my current weight for quite a while, but seriously I need to lose a good 5ish pounds to be at a good weight for the wedding (Im already too late for my ideal due to the plateau...but its okay!)
I am now working hard to tone my arms for the wedding and to slim down 5lbs, any suggestions? Food or Excercise!
I do a fun T25 every other day and do small weights in the morning and in the evening, eat a bunch of veggies for lunch + 2 eggs and usually fruit for breakfast or a protein shake. I work standing/walking so that also helps.
Thanks everyone!

Congratulations! I don't have any exercise or diet advice, other than to keep doing what you're doing. But based on my own experience, make sure you get plenty of sleep the night before the big day, and drink lots of water -- all day every day! Also I don't know if you're a drinker (of alcohol), but at my reception I made sure to alternate a glass of alcohol with a glass of club soda, just to make sure I didn't get stoopid and embarrass myself. heehee...0

Do big weights every other day, once a day. You'll boost your metabolism with the extra muscle mass, and you'll at least look slimmer, no matter what the scales say.
And congrats on the progress so far and your upcoming wedding- I'm only 5 months behind you (wedding is 12/21)
ETA: And no, you won't get bulky on weights-especially in a month. promise. :flowerforyou:0 -
hhahah OK!!!! Thanks for the tip!!! will do!!! Congrats to you too !!!!!!!!!!!0

Cut carbs, sweet etc
Eat veg, water, protein
Lift weights0 -
Add heavier weights to your routine a few days/week.
Remove any carbonated (even diet soda) and alcohol from your diet until the big day.
Have you tried adding a bit of running to your exercise routine?
Try hitting a pool for some free stroke laps- it'll definitely tone your arms (better than weights in my opinion).
Congratulations on the big day!

1. If you have access hit a speed bag (boxing) or even youtube old Tae Bo videos.
2. If you swim mix it up with freestyle, back stroke and breast stroke.
3. Dips off of a (very sturdy) coffee tale or weight bench in the gym (check out youtube for form).0 -
I'd keep doing what you are doing for another 2 weeks and then for the 2 weeks before your wedding I'd suggest you try to relax. Stop any aspects of your diet or exercise that cause you stress and take a break for a bit, give yourself some you time. You've done well and you should take pride in that, I'm sure your SO is proud of you.
Nothing will make you more radiant or glowing during your wedding more than being relaxed and as low stress as you can be. If you push and push and PUSH up to the last minute you MAY lose one more pound but will that be worth being tired and stressed? No, probably not.0
