LOL. I have been maintaining for almost 3 years and can eyeball portion sizes of most things. The only thing I eat daily that I still weigh on a scale is almonds. I test myself once in a while to eyeball an ounce and I am ALWAYS way over. WAY over. I shudder to think how many I deemed was a serving before MFP.

Tell me about it. I just bought a big bag a couple of days ago and instead of measuring them out with a cup, I weighed the grams. So, so tiny!!

I've only been measuring for a short time and my go to snack is trail mix. One serving is a quarter cup. When I measured it out for the first time and put it in a bowl, I just stood there and went "Wow!" Now that's just sad. No wonder I'm so big! I'm sure it will get even sadder when I buy a digital scale and weigh it instead...
  • Our food scale just got delivered today. I made myself a pita pizza for lunch. Why is cheese so heavy!? I love cheese and clearly have been WAY under with my estimates.
