Best way to reduce tummy

Hi I am still quite new on my MFP journey. I weigh 188 lbs and I'm 5ft 11. I am eating 1600 calories a day and getting to the gym 3-4 times a week doing les mills body combat and body pump. Most of my weight is on my tummy what's the best way to reduce that ? I am a wine lover and I suspect that maybe part of the problem ... Any suggestions gratefully received. I've lost 5 lbs in a month which I'm pleased with. I would like to lose between 30 and 40 lbs.

Magic! Unfortunately, short of that, you don't get to decide where your body reduces fat from first. Sadly you tummy could be the last bastion of fat. Me, I lose it in the face first and stomach last. However, if you just stick with it, you will reach your overall goal!0

It's not all about weight, but reducing BF%. For some that's losing a lot of weight and maintaining muscle mass, for other's it's losing very little weight and maintaining mass.
Moderate Deficit + Work (cardio with heavy compound weight training) + patience.....0 -
You can't spot reduce; you have to reduce overall. If you keep eating healthy and working out, you'll see the inches/fat go away with time. Genetics also play a role in where you lose from. If your genetics have you carrying weight in your tummy, it will be harder to lose from there but not impossible.0

Also, you lost five pounds in a month! That's great! Look at you, being awesome! You are on the right track to a smaller tummy; just stick with it!0

Consistency. Body fat lowers systematically, meaning you lose it all over evenly.

You cant control where your fat loss comes from. It will come from everywhere. Even your boobs.

Continue doing BodyPump and Increase your weights if possible to help maintain the muscle mass you do have. Or go even heavier using free weights in gym:

Weight training and consuming enough protein should help you lose mostly fat rather than fat and a bunch of muscle. From then on, it's up to your genetics.
Add me if you want a Les Mills friend! Can't get enough lol
