Like seriously is this a new thing? I know that I have not been to the gym in a while but did I miss something during those five months?

    +1

Also, I can totally picture some woman doing this in order to hide her makeup free face, while she shuns other women for wearing makeup to the gym.

I wore mine the other day, didn't notice until I had finished my workout. Happens to me because I wear glasses all the time, but prescription shades for driving, sometimes I forget to switch. Not on purpose though, but it happens.

My sunglasses are corrective and mostly for driving... sometimes I have to grab them from the cubby to read something. I get weird looks. They don't stay on for long.

Confession: I wear prescription sunglasses and every once in a while I forget to bring my regular glasses in to the gym with me. I'm in too much of a hurry to go back out and get them - yes, I know it's only a few minutes, but I really am squeezed for time since I lift on my lunch break. So, I have, on more than one occasion, done my entire workout in sunglasses. Going without glasses is not an option.
I was embarrassed the first time it happened, but then I figured no one would care.

Maybe they smoked a bowl, used them to hide their eyes and forgot where they were. Not that I ever did that. Wait, Maryjane? Are we talking about you here? Hmmmmm?

I've never seen this nor done this. But speaking as someone who wears sunglasses indoors frequently because of migraines that come with extreme sensitivity to light, you may want to take that into consideration before passing judgements. :flowerforyou:

You go to the gym during a migraine??

I don't think I ever wore them in the gym, but I wear prescription glasses and need to switch to regular glasses and I have been in indoor situations in which I forgot to do that and did not even realize I was wearing sunglasses for a little while. Other times I only have my sunglasses and need to keep them on. If I have been wearing prescription sunglasses and then take them off, my depth perception is so bad that I could fall and walk into things. Early summer can bring about this situation.

sunglasses in the gym is the domain of the ultra tool. Only seen it a few times. Usually accompanied by lots of mean mugging, invisible muscles, etc.

There's a guy that wears a Bane mask while he works out. I've never seen his full face before. And this is at Planet Fitness , lol.

you sure it's not an altitude mask?

    This.

I have slight Photophobia (sensitivity to light), meaning I get migraines from prolonged exposure to artificial light, low sun or PCs without my sunglasses or filtered glasses. My old gym Virgin Active was rediculously bright with stupidly low ceilings meaning you were on a treadmil and straight in front of you they had those full length wall of mirrors reflecting alsorts of crazy light around. I certainly wasn't the only one who wore shades there.
